Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson said captain Nemanja Vidic may be out until the end of December. Serbia defender is unable to play for the last five months of last season after suffering a serious injury in the right leg ligaments. He said: "I think Vidic will only be returned at the end of December. Maybe during Christmas celebrations." In addition to Vidic, the Red Devils also face injury problems with defenders such as Phil Jones and Chris Smalling who is sidelined until the end of this month.
